2020 EVENTS UPDATE
As soon as we discover any way to restart the engines, we promise you to come back bigger, stronger, and better than ever with all dials cranked to maximum… we are already exploring every possible option for the last part of this year, and for 2021. But when we do finally design our events in the future, we want you to be able to decide if and how it’s right for you to participate, and not be bound to it at a time when you may have more important concerns of survival and well-being. We wish the absolute best to you and your families, and while music and art matter so much to us, nothing is more important or precious than human life and we celebrate you making the most of every possible second. BASSLANTA – NYE 2017 RECAP
2017 was a wild ride, and we gathered together in Atlanta to reflect on all that happened and look to the future… New Years Eve can be introspective as we try and process the vast scope of our life, but also wild as we celebrate the joy of being alive in the moment – and it’s always deeply mystical as we unite to face the future together. It was an honor to be joined by 17-year-old activist Xiuhtezcatl Martinez of Earth Guardians, who urged each of us to rise against injustice in defense of the planet and all of its inhabitants. Always remember: you have the power to change our world. The magic we feel at these events is a sum of each person sharing their own individual essence: that’s what makes a real community. We love and appreciate you,

TO WRITE LOVE ON HER ARMS
Although Electric Forest is one of my favorite festivals to perform at, I noticed something unexpected this year: The highlight of my weekend was not being on stage, playing music, or even running around exploring: it was volunteering inside of this little treehouse in the middle of the woods… In conjunction with an amazing non-profit called To Write Love On Her Arms (who serve to encourage mental health, from light-hearted art projects to pro-active suicide prevention – https://twloha.com), the festival and their partners from Grand Artique had set up little telephones, attached to trees in The Forest – like some kind of magical, mysterious phone booths. I sat inside a little treehouse with an old-timey switchboard and headset, playing Operator to the network of phones placed throughout the forest. I would see a button light up, which meant that there

FREESTYLE SESSIONS GALLERY
Thanks to everyone who came together to make this such a magical experience! One of the intentions was to shift the focus from the artist to the art: gathering humans in a room filled to the brim with music and let them swim around freely in the bass waves! Massive thanks to the entire PK SOUND CREW, all at Brown Note, and of course our entire multimedia team including but not limited to Smalley, Gabe, Max, Peter, Matt, Brandon, Jake, Ian, and countless others. MAKE ART NOT WAR 🙂 UPDATE: All three nights are now added!!! Enjoy (: Photos courtesy of aLIVE Coverage.
