The third and final mix in the Lockdown Mixtape series, Music for Optimists celebrates the end to the pandemic and includes tracks by Benga, 6 Blocc, Virtual Self, Le Lion, Big Chocolate and more and is a stack of Bassnectar’s own edits packed in a predictably bass-heavy 33-min set. 

Lockdown Mixtapes: Music for Optimists originally launched on January 17, 2023 exclusively for members of The Other Side before it’s official release to the public in January 2025.
