The Bassnectar team is thrilled to bring you the first ever BASS ISLAND adventure, part one in a spellbinding trilogy of music, art, and culture that will unfold on the beautiful South Island Field at Governors Island, New York City, on August 13th, 2011.
We want to create a unique world to explore, beyond the realms of a normal concert experience. Much like the regional Bass Center events, we expect to ram this island to the gills with freaks and bass heads, as it is our only stop in NYC for the rest of the year.

Tickets will be available through Ticketmaster at the link below until noon on the day of the event, and at the Mercury Lounge and Music Hall Of Williamsburg box offices until 4pm (cash only) – after which tickets will be available at South Island Field on Governors Island starting at 4pm until Bassnectar takes the stage (cash only). Will call tickets can be collected from the box office on the island.

BASS ISLAND FERRY INFORMATION
Bass Island free concert ferries will begin running at 3:30PM from Battery Park in Lower Manhattan, and will run until at least an hour after the event ends. You do not need to buy a ticket in advance or present a ticket to ride the ferry. The Battery is accessible from State Street and Battery Place. Once inside Battery Park, please follow signs for Concert Ferries and keep an eye out for directional staff. It’s a five minute walk from State Street.

• West Side Local to South Ferry
BY BUS:
• M1, M6, M15 to South Ferry
BY CAR:
• From Queens and Brooklyn: Take the BQE to Brooklyn Bridge, FDR South to Exit 1 toward Battery Park/ Staten Island
• From Manhattan and the Bronx: FDR or the West Side Highway to Battery Park. Parking garages are located on West Street and South Street.
